All Hillfoot and Paws products have an individual size guide, so please check product descriptions carefully and measure your pet before buying.

The harness needs to be big enough for your pet to walk, lay down and stand up comfortably; and a collar needs to be able to fit without being too tight around the neck. However, you don't want to choose a collar that's too loose that it slides off.

We hope that the below guide will help you understand how best to measure your pet to ensure you choose the right size product.

Collar

Using a cloth measuring tape, measure your dog's neck circumference. Make sure that the tape fits nicely, but is not too tight. We recommend adding approximately 2 fingers or 5 cm to the measurement to ensure that the collar is not too small and not too big for your dog.

Harness

To choose the correct harness, you will need to obtain two measurements:

  1. Chest: measure your dog's chest around the widest part of the ribs. Make sure you add another few centimeters
  2. Neck: Measure your dog's neck to ensure that the harness can be pulled through the dog's head.
